Founded in the year 2000, H&E Educational Centre was born from a deep passion for education and a strong commitment to shaping young minds. Established by Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Efua Mills-Robertson (both of blessed memory), with the support of their children, the school began as a vision to create a nurturing and impactful learning environment. The name H&E reflects the founders’ personal dedication to education and legacy.
The school officially opened on 8th May, 2000, with just seven pupils and a small but devoted team of staff. Growth was rapid, driven by commitment, quality teaching, and community support. Within a year, enrolment increased significantly, leading to the establishment of the primary section in 2002, and later the Junior High School in 2007.
H&E Educational Centre continued to record remarkable milestones, including the formation of a strong Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and School Management Committee (SMC). In 2010, the school proudly presented its first batch of BECE candidates, whose excellent performance marked a defining moment in the school’s history.
Over the years, H&E Educational Centre has consistently excelled academically and socially, achieving success in BECE results, inter-school sports, and academic competitions. From humble beginnings to a thriving educational institution, H&E stands as a symbol of vision, dedication, and community impact—continuing to inspire and transform lives for generations to come.
